My paintings celebrates the vibrant spirit and personality of animals through the fluid, expressive medium of watercolor. My work is a tribute to the quiet intricacies of the natural world—specifically, the overlooked elegance of fungi. Through sculpture, I aim to replicate mushrooms with scientific precision and artistic reverence, capturing not only their form but the quiet, organic intelligence of their design. Each piece begins with close observation and study. I am fascinated by the diversity of fungal structures—the gills, caps, textures, and subtle color shifts that occur in nature. These details, often missed in passing, reveal the deep beauty and complexity of natural systems. My process is rooted in a desire to honor this complexity through exacting craftsmanship. My work is both an act of documentation and a quiet celebration of nature’s design—an offering to the forest floor.
